While powering on the keyboard light and turbo button lights are on. However the screen doesn't turn on.
I tried the battery reset option. It wasn't working.
Any suggestions?
It's 2 month old , i bought it from US and now in india. Currently in warranty.

Try shining a flashlight at an angle to the screen to see if it is a backlight problem.

    Yes Its working.
Now i can boot up the system but can't go beyond logo.
I think windows is corrupted. Is there any way to fresh install using a usb ? I am getting error as boot.ini file not found during installation.

kpradp ALT+F10 on boot choose delete everything option it will install a stock clean install (if the recovery partition its not corrupted) or you can just try to fix the startup also try to get into the bios F2 on boot and reset to setup defaults save&exit

If you can see the stuff on the screen by shining the flashlight on it, the problem is the LED back light, and that's hardware. If things work great until you get into Windows, then go dark then somehow Windows (or an app or driver) is turning the back light all the way off (normally the back light is adjustable from about 50% to 100% brightness). If hardware you really ought to send it in for repair since there are several different things that can cause back light failure.

I am able to startup the laptop. However bluetooth and wifi driver is missing and i am not able to connect. Tried many ways re installing the drivers.
Was it due to windows update ?
