Predator Triton 500 not charging properly when playing games.

Just received my Triton 500 from amazon and booted up some games to play like counter strike. When playing the game the laptop stops receiving charge from the power cable and continues to do so for a while. When left on standby/shut down for a few minutes it then charges like normal. Is there a fix to this or should I send it back to amazon?

    This is normal - using battery power when components pull more power than your power supply can provide.

    The laptop acts as if It’s not plugged in. The red charging light on the right hand side of the device disappears too. Also, because it’s ‘not plugged in’ I can’t overclock it either.

    Edit: Also there’s an adudible beep when this happens.

    Oh, then yes, there seems to be an issue. If this is still within warranty/return window do as you feel is apt.

    @marcushdjdjs  the resolution for this problem is to send it back for a replacement or refund as the unit seems to be faulty out of the box
