The battery should be near 100% charged and charger plugged in BEFORE starting heavy gaming loads. Under these conditions, the battery should not suddenly drop to 15% unless it can no longer hold a full charge or the charger is faulty. Jack E/NJ

    (1) What is your full ACER model number?
    (2) How many watts output is your charger?

Go to command prompt as administrator. Enter 'powercfg batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for 'battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it. Please post screenshot of results. Jack E/NJ

What were you doing at 14:22 for almost 2 hours? Looks like very heavy load that might've drained the battery to a critical level. Did the cpu throttle a few times during this session?  Also, is this charger original ACER model that came with this laptop? Jack E/NJ

The battery looks good.  But the charger apparently can't keep up with the load even though it's the larger 180watt unit made for the PH317-51. Is the laptop getting very hot? Can you monitor CPU temperatures? If not, download speccy or hwinfo freeware to see if you're also seeing some thermal throttling. I don't think you should because your power plan is set to Balanced. Even if laptop heats to 95C while  playing it should not drain so much of battery. Also there is gpu power limit and voltage limit while gaming. Cpu is ok until it underclock itself due to heat.can heating cause voltage and power limit. Because heat pipes are shared between cpu and gpu.

Yes, CPU turbo cuts out at 90*C. From what I've seen so far, the charger seems to be delivering only a fraction of its 180watt output under heaving gaming load. The battery seems to be carrying most of this load. That's why it's draining so fast. I suspect the charger is faulty. Jack E/NJ

Yes, I think the charger is bad under heavy gaming loads. You must try another known-good charger. Jack E/NJ

I think the issue is with your motherboard. My nitro 5 also had this issue. when I contacted service centre they told power IC is burnt.. Better to visit service centre.
