    So, I have a predator helios 300.
     The specs of the laptop are : - i7-8750h , GTX 1050ti , 8GB RAM
I have Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. I decided to run a benchmark test. I realised that my results are terrible. My benchmark score was around 800 and people with 8750h get like 1200 ish. Also while running the test it was showing "Power Limit Throttling" - Yes. This is also a very bad thing. Also , I tried undervolting the CPU it did not help. My CPU temps were around 75 degrees (after undervolting). Please tell me how to fix "Power Limit Throttling"
My scores: 1277 in Cinebench R15 and 2831 in Cinebench R20

I usually dont use cinebench for benchmark as it doesnt mean anything to me really, gaming and push/load it up as much as i can its what matters untill either it survives or dies completely but anyway here are my cinebench scores (which again dont mean anything to me)
https://snag.gy/3q9pjK.jpg (bare in mind this benchmark was done with FF opened with 100+ tabs, discord opened, telegram opened, mirc opened, Flash fxp opened and backing up from server to server also filezilla pro opened and baking up from server to the pc hdd) i would probably get much better results if i would close everything

Followed with my 3dmark (this is what really counts to me)

And @Arsalaank17 if i were you i would consider in upgrading your ram to dual channel if you are able to

    https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/11532543

    UserBenchmarks: Game 43%, Desk 61%, Work 40%
    CPU: Intel Core i5-7300HQ - 63.5%
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti (Mobile) - 41.9%
    SSD: WDC WDS200T2B0B-00YS70 2TB - 71.4%
    HDD: WD WD10SPZX-00HKTT0 1TB - 93.7%
    RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR4 2666 C15 2x16GB - 76.8%
    MBD: Acer Predator G3-572

I'm not an Acer employee. (just here to help in the best way i can)
If my answer fixed you issue please accept it for any other users who search for it would find it quickly thanks :)

Yes XTU benchmarking will use predetermined power limit values for your CPU. I have found many times it showed power limit throttling even when I had unlocked my BIOs and removed the power limits or raised them to 70w (XTU showed power limit throttle at 45w).

Try using Cinebench as its a better benchmark for CPUs anyway in comparison to XTUs built in benchmarks.

Also as @ven98 mentioned, the RAM having dual channel will boost your CPU performance considerably. In fact your score is quite good for only having 8gb in single channel.
