I bought my acer predator helios 300 before 1 year and one month and now when im having the laptop plugged in (like normal) charger disconnects and connects after 10-40sec wich is not normal giving me the beep that it got disconnected and then beep that it connected again .. I tried plugging it to another outlet just to make sure its not the outlet that i useally use and i even charged my phone on that outlet and its okay so its the laptops fault .. + it kinda happens .when the laptop is 100% charged it disconnects and as soon as it drops to 99% charger connects back giving me the annoying beep+when i turn the laptop off it charges to 100% and charger will never connect back because its 100 .. I know that because the charging light turns off + the charger is perfectly okay i didnt drop it or spill water or anything like that + its not bent (okay) even the laptop nothing happened to it ... I care about my laptop so much that i wipe it after i game from finger prints cuz the plastic kinda like a finger print magnite .. So what should i do?

  • OK! First tell the exact model of your notebook. Example an515-51-75kz. Then try these tips:
    a) uninstall the AC adapter and battery drivers from the device manager:

Restart the notebook and see if it works!
    b) disable fast startup in the power options and turn off the notebook completely:

You can try with a voltmeter to check the output voltage of the adapter and see if it's outputting the same voltage on the sticker as u said might be a faulty adapter you can also try the same steps as @egydiocoelho stated in his post above but this time hold the battery pinhole power drain for 30s then leave it to rest from 5 to 10 mnts after that boot into bios reset setup defaults and let it boot normally to see if the issue still persists
