Turn the laptop over to obtain the SNID.
Enter the SNID at the Acer Warranty Status website to determine if your device is still covered.
If it is still under warranty, you will have to contact your local Acer Support for them to repair it free of charge.
If it is no longer under warranty, then try re-seating the RAM sticks or use a new set of RAM sticks.
If the laptop screen continues to be black, then it's probably a good idea to get professional help.0 -

Yes. Right now I´m using my notebook. The problem is to enter in Windows. I have to force shutdown and restart several times. Sometimes 4 or 5, others 15 or more. When it does, the computer works great.

If it's the black screen problem with your F5, probably the LCD video ribbon cable connectors either need to be re-seated a few times at the LCD inverter board and mainboard to clean the connections or the ribbon itself has conductor trace breaks in the hinge area from opening and closing the lid too much. If the latter, a replacement cable is needed. Usually less than $30. Jack E/NJ PS Make sure HDMI out to a TV works everytime though to help rule out or rule in a graphics adapter issue.
