Try this... put in about 24 GB of swap space on your hard disk instead of default 12 or so. Since your primary is an SSD it should be pretty fast, though not as fast as RAM though. If this feels slow you can try for a new RAM.

But keep in mind, SSD life is measured in terms of writes to it (not reads) and measured in terms of TBW (tera bytes written), and is usually to the tune of a couple hundred atleast. On normal day to day use, you can expect about a TB or two written in a month.

Mine is 512 - and 75% of it is set of intensive games. And then a few wipes while playing with 10 and 7 and installing and reinstalling games with sizes in 10 of GBs and with even VMs on it, mine says it used about 6 TB when I checked a couple weeks ago (about 6 months since I purchased the laptop). So considering you use yours as RAM for a while, it should still last a few years.

Next, coming to heat issues... i am putting in a couple links below that I used to reduce temps on my laptop. You could try following them.
Also, what I noticed, instead of laptop pad, use felt pads to increase laptop height, and put an external USB fan or such to the area north of Fn keys - this is where laptop tends to heat up a lot. This would help cool it more than the cooling pad.

The recommended for Adobe After Effects and Adobe premier for Windows OS is 8GB of RAM (16GB recommended).
Since this model has only 8GB memory, you may go ahead and upgrade it.

This model has 2 DIMM socket that supports memory size per socket 4GB/8GB/16GB
Supports maximum memory size Total 32GB
Supports DIMM type SODIMM, with DIMM Speed DDR4 2400/2666 and DIMM voltage 1.2V
Supports DIMM package 260-pin DDR4 SODIMM

Here are some officially supported 8GB and 16 Gb memory modules

If you are in India, you can visit the nearest Acer service center in your region and upgrade the memory modules.

Could anyone help me regarding which Ram(16GB) should I buy for my Helios300
PH315-51 laptop https://www.acer.com/ac/en/IN/content/predator-model/NH.Q3HSI.012    .It already had an 8GB stick.
I basically worried about the specification of the ram which I should buy like (Mhz, type).

Any buying link of Amazon(INDIA) or Flipkart(INDIA) would be much appreciated.
