My laptop recently had to have a fresh windows 10 OS, as it got previously corrupted. While installing all the other drivers, I noticed the quick access doesn't install.I keep getting the error message "this package can't be opened"

Can anyone help? I really need to use the cool boost feature, Thanks

    Hello,

Please provide me the info on how did you reinstall Windows. Did you wipe your files during install or kept them?

You can try to run the .exe file as administrator to fix the error.

    Hi thanks for the reply.
As I had no backup of my previous OS and unable to repair the OS. I had to wipe the drive and install windows 10. I tried running the .exe as admin and it shows the same result in the image.

As I can see from the screenshot attached from your post, I think you have not extracted the .zip file of QuickAccess downloaded from Acer's website. Try to extract the .zip file, which will create a new folder and then run Setup.exe from the newly extracted folder.

    Hi,
Use a third party uninstaller to clear any reminiscent of previous installation, you can use Revo uninstaller  to remove.
    https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
    https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/516258/unable-to-uninstall-acer-quick-access
As my OS corrupted, I had to start from scratch, so I haven't got a previous installation of quick access. Thanks
