1, Since Jan 2018 when I bought this laptop, it has always felt. wrong, would not play some games, boot a bit slower then a new computer should.
2, 2018 end of June Windows did an update and I was getting system service blue screen every 3 minutes after it would load
3, I went to Microsoft to see if there were any fixes, there was a driver update suggestion. I cant look back now to see.
4, after this I could not get in to windows for more then 30 seconds before a blue screen
5, I had created a restore point before the update, it will not let me roll back
6, I decide to reset the computer keeping my files, got to 50% then said there was a error
7, I decide to do to full reset and just start over, got to 50% and gave same error
No the laptop will not launch windows at all, I can get the the system service screen after a few try's at loading.
I'm ok with starting all over, can anyone help me on how to do this.
1st help that did not work
If your installation of Windows 10 is exhibiting strange behavior that doesn't seem to resolve through typical troubleshooting you may need to perform a "Repair Upgrade". This will reinstall windows over top of your existing installation and will preserve personal files and settings. Here is a detailed tutorial to follow
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
WHY
at this point I can not get to my desk top to follow these steps, I either get the blue screen or I can get to the system repair screen but nothing I do there seems to do anything.
2nd help that did not work
it may be helpful to access the recovery menu using another method. Please try the following.
Power on and off your computer three times
as follows.
Power on and when you see the Windows Logo power off
Power on again and when you see the Windows Logo power off
Power on again and your computer will boot into the Advanced Recovery environment
You might be asked to sign in with your Microsoft Account or Local Account password.
Click on Advanced Options
Then Click on Troubleshoot
Then Click on Advanced Options
boot into the recovery environment, then click 'Go back to previous version of Windows'
WHY
boot into the recovery environment, then click 'Go back to previous version of Windows'
ive tried 3 things, to go back to a restore point I made before the update, failed at 50.
reset keeping files, fails at 50%
reset not keeping files, fails at 50%
I can get to the recovery screen, I can also get to the f2 screen but d2d was turned on already, I hit alt f10 and it gave a system error once it reloaded.
I just keep getting a blue recovery page that says windows did not load correctly now.
windows 10 came preinstalled on this laptop, ive only had updates installed.
system repair couldn't repair your pc is what i just got trying something new.
system service execption is the error on the blue screen
