Intel HD Graphics Driver 23.20.16.4901 by Acer (downloaded on support website of course) on E5-575G has problems becuase after update driver stopped working and show a yellow triangle on device management. Tried latest driver from Intel (so not OEM) but they gave me a BSOD. Reasonable they are not fully compatible on laptop (obviously). So i uninstall it and let Windows install it. The result? An old driver from 2016... please can someone say to Acer to release good drivers for new update?

Well since we haven't heard from @Nico_2812 on the June 14th MS driver, and @LaSimo reports OK so far on the June 15th ACER driver, looks like the issue is fixed----at least till the next Win10update. :) Jack E/NJ

Does the old 2016 driver still have the red or yellow warning? Jack E/NJ

The driver in question is 21.20.16.4494. There's no triangle now, but every boot after acer logo there is a black screen with a wheel (as if is installing something). I think it's not fully compatible with this version of Windows 10.
I did not mention that 23.20.16.4901 by Acer worked fine before on Fall Creators Update Windows 10.

Open system information. (1) What are the name & description of the display components? (2) Have you downloaded and installed ACER drivers other than the graphics drivers? Jack E/NJ

    (1) Intel HD Graphics 620
         Nvidia GeForce 940MX
    (2) Yeah Chispet, Ethernet, Wifi are all from ACER. I download every single driver from website and installed it when they came out.

Tried and nothing. Installed the chipset driver from link that you provided (i always download driver from there), the driver was the same i have just installed before, tried reinstalling 23.20.16.4901 hd driver and still yellow triangle at reboot. I think we need an hd graphics new driver that is compatible with April 2018 Update of WIndows 10. Is simply to understand..

A BSOD occurred today.. i think there are incompatibilities with HD graphics driver and Windows 10. Most of reddit users that experienced BSOD are Acer user. I think you must release a new driver. with WDMM 2.4 support... April 2018 update came out 1 month Ago

    Same problem here.
After April update the latest working drivers for the Intel HD 620 are unusable. Same issue as Nico. And the only working drivers are old and buggy, especially on 3D rendering. Currently 21.20.16.4534 07/10/2016 !!!!!
Check the version numbers available for Acer and the ones released by Intel. There are centuries in between the two versions!

Acer lists the laptop models tested for compatibility with April Update here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/windows10-april-2018-update and incredibly E5-575G is not on the list.

The issues related to the impossibility to install proprietary Intel drivers on Acer laptops are known. So we have to wait till Acer releases new drivers. But we can't wait forever! The June fix to April Update released by Windows still doesn't solve the issue.

Acer should be more attentive to drivers update, because they are core components of a computer. We work with it!!! And buggy drivers are a pain.
Last year we had the same problem. I was testing with Intel a bug that affected 3D rendering on this chipset. Intel solved it and Acer took months to release a "sort of" updated driver (because it wasn't the latest available...) https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/533502/intel-hd-620-video-drivers-update-acer-please-update-and-distribute-new-drivers#latest

Please Acer Team, release new working drivers for E5-575G-77FW. Or if you don't wan't to :) please remove that silly block that doesn't allow us to install original Intel drivers on our computers, unless tweaking the OS :( thing that I don't want to do on my current laptop for many reasons.

If Windows automatically loads 21.20.16.4494 now, then this is the one you should use. For consistency, your chipset driver should also be 10.1.1.27.  It's best to try to avoid indescriminately installing drivers based mainly on their release date. Jack E/NJ
