    Hi all,

I'm sorry that you're having issues with your Predator ph315-51, i want to thank you all for your patience while we resolved this issue.  We have found a solution for this problem “system hang up then black display after reboot” and release an BIOS update (version 1.15) with a fix for it. Please follow the steps here

It also looks like we have multiple threads reporting this issue, in order to consolidate all topics and be able to keep track of all of the reports from our users we will go close this topic. My laptop  ph 315-51 is freezing randomly and on force boot it shows only black screen , no predator logo , nothing,
Only way to fix is to reset battery through pin hole
Is this issue related to software or hardware??

There are multiple threads on here with the same issue. Try following them. Else try installing drivers via windows, and not acer drivers.

It's a software issue because Linux works fine.

    No official fix yet.

Acer drivers, to my knowledge. Try installing a 3rd party driver software and updating all your drivers with it.

I installed windows 10 from MS site and used windows to update all the drivers. No problems since.

You *should* be able to install and skip the part of providing your product key and after windows is installed it should insert the stored key.
