    Hi,

Both  Hyper-V and VT-x* (not AMD CPU models), they are both enabled even if those options are hidden on BIOS.
Windows home doesn't support Virtualisation, you need the windows 8 professional
or newer 64-bit operating systems oversion.
If your computer meets the hardware requirements below, you can configure Hyper-V to utilize software virtualization.

System that supports Second Level Address Translation (SLAT). You can run a utility like Coreinfo to find out if SLAT is supported on your machine.

If your system meets the above hardware requirements, use the following steps to to install or turn on Hyper-V.

Type Features, then select Turn Windows Features on or off from the list of search results.
Check the box next to Hyper-V, then click OK to enable this feature.
You should now have a Hyper-V application listed with your Windows Apps.
Windows will display an error message if your hardware does not meet the minimum requirements for virtualization.

I'm having the same issue. Windows tried for the third time to install the build 17074 here and it gets stuck on boot.
    Here it's said that it's a known issue: https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2018/01/11/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-17074-pc/
"Certain devices may hang on the boot screen after upgrading. If this happens to you, go into the BIOS and disable virtualization".
But the option of enabling/disabling virtualization is missing on setup. Thank you Acer, great. smh.
In this other post, people are trying to enable virtualization and following some guide online, maybe there's some way to follow the guide to do the opposite:
    https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/471577/how-to-enable-virtualization-on-my-acer-aspire-e5-553.
I guess I'll save myself from the hurdle and just try to avoid Windows to update somehow.
