Hi
i recently bought Acer a515-51g (i7-8550u)
i try to install windows 7 on it by a flash drive and when i finally was able to run it after pressing install now i had this error "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing etc"
i understand the problem is because during the installation the device doesnt read usb drives so i have no idea how to make it read or solve it anyway!
plz if anyone tells how to fix it id be appriciated.

You need to integrate usb3/sata/ahci drivers in your windows 7 installation. Almost the easiest solution is this:
Create Windows7 USB stick > (remove blank space between http: and //)
    1. download/prepare your windows 7 ISO file
    2. download and extract WindowsImageTool http: //download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Utility/embedded_utility_windows_image_tool.zip
    3. download and install VirtualCloneDrive https: //www.elby.ch/en/products/vcd.html
    4. mount your windows7 ISO file in VirtualCloneDrive
    5. run extracted WindowsImageTool.exe, select Windows 7 from the virtual drive as source, select USB stick as target, check options: integrate USB3 drivers, NVme drivers, Windows packages
    6. wait untill WindowsImageTool is finished and use created Windows7 USB stick to install Windows.

Is it even possible to mod the drivers? And which exact ones are required to get through the installation? People are able to install Windows 7 on PC's with an 11th gen intel cpu, an rtx 3090 and it's working just fine for them, so I don't understand why it doesn't even install on an 8th gen CPU...

Yes it's possible to natively install Win7 if the UEFI bootstrap firmware has the legacy BIOS compatibility support module (CSM) installed for booting from an MBR partitioned drive AND SATA drive mode can be changed to AHCI. Win7 can also be installed as a virtual guest under UEFI bootstrapped operating systems like Win10 or Mint20.
