As E1-531 supports DDR3 1333mhz 1.5v sodimm is it possible to be upgraded with DD3 1600mhz sticks?
I am using 2x2GB DDR3 1333mhz
I want to replace 1x2GB DD3 1333mhz with 1x4GB DD3 1600mhz
So the final result will be 1x4GB DD3 1600mhz + 1x2GB DD3 1333mhz = 6GB RAM with different kind of sticks.
Is it ok, is it compatible and will it works without problems afterwards?
Thanks

Hello,
You can upgrade 2+4Gb without any problems but that depends of the brand and the part number of memory modules. They will work at 1333MHz.
- Which are the brands and the part numbers of original memory modules?
- Same question about the other part?

May be my choice will be A-DATA 2x4GB
Well I advise you these Adata part numbers (100% compatible):
SpoilerAD3S1600C4G11 - 4Gb 1600MHz
AD3S1600W4G11 - 4Gb 1600MHz0 -
Tnx again Laurent!
I check the Store. They have A-Data sticks with Part number - AD3S1600W4G11 - b
Is there a difference between AD3S1600W4G11 and AD3S1600W4G11 - b or it is OK?

Hello,
For this memory module, no differences. It's a packaging code (blister, retail, small box or 2 parts).
-B, -R, -S or -2 (2x4Gb)

> this is what i want to buy. -Kingston KVR16LS11/4, 4GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, CL11
FIXED THE MEMORY DESCRIPTION0 -
Hi,
The difference between them is the voltage, you have 1.5v memory and Kingston is a low voltage memory(1.3v). It's better to install memory modules with same specs.
Try to get matching module as exactly as your current module.
