Aspire E15 E5-575G fails to update bios

I've tried using all the bios updates from acer for my model. After it restarts to start the update I get this screen:wJd17WT

I haven't found anyone else with this issue.

    can you post a screenshot of msinfo:

    windows logo key + r

    type

    msinfo32

     

    screenshot must have model and BIOS version

    ok, i think the issue is...legacy mode.

     

    BIOS must be in UEFI mode to be updated but if you switch it, you need to re-install windows OS.(that i suggest, since UEFI is way more secure from viruses attack.)

    I would be in UEFI mode if windows would install in UEFI mode... Windows gives this error "An unexpected I/O error has occurred" with the error code 0xc00000e9." everytime I try to install on uefi mode. I used usb and disk, neither worked which led me to try updating the bios. However the acer bios update only works on windows and I cant just flash the bios update from usb. So I'm stuck in this loop of needing something I cant get.

    can be something related to the SSD/HDD (some mentioned a bad SATA cable), for sure it's an hardware issue.
