KringKring,
If you reset the phone and it worked normally, it sounds like there might be an app that is being downloaded/installed that could be causing an issue. Remove apps you installed one by one, restarting after each removal to see if that fixes the issue.

KringKring,
After you reset the phone it worked fine, I can only assume that it is an application you are installing that is causing the problem. Reset the phone, do not have it restore all your applications when you go through the set up, and see if the problem comes back with no applications installed, other than the default Acer applications.
If it works, download one application, restart after it is installed and use the phone to see if it is causing the problem. It will not be a fast process, but it will narrow down whether it is an actual application problem or the phone itself.

After your reply, I havent installed any application. Only the original applications that were predownloaded. But it had this error again. After that, I decided not to reset the phone, I downloaded a sms application and changed it as my default sms app. And it worked for now.0

KringKring,
Worst case scenario, you can contact Acer technical support or your carrier to make sure there isn not something wrong with the phone hardware wise.

go to settings - select apps - go to all - select messaging - select clear data - select force stop - select ok. Try sending SMS again. Do the process again if sending fails.

Hi there. I also had the same problem. I bought mine less than a week ago and I began experiencing such problem at the 3rd day. What's peculiar in my situation is that it happened even before I installed some new apps. Even now, this problem is still occuring and normaly what I just do is that I go to settings>apps>all>messaging then clear the messaging's cache and data. Everything would return to normal temporarily. I do the same process if it happens again. I hope a permanent solution would be available soon. Hope this helps.
PS: rebooting the phone, removing sim or battery did not work for me. That's the only solution I have discovered so far.
