Aspire XC-603G overheats easily
I ordered an Aspire XC-603G recently and right out of the box it's having some serious issues. It overheats and shuts down if the CPU gets busy at all, especially when rendering video. Flash video, directx, it doesn't really matter, the computer shuts down FAR too easily. I know it's an overheating issue because I have checked the windows event logs after each shutdown.
Any help would be very appreciated.

bad thermal paste?
no intake - outake fans?

This is a preconstructed PC, I don't actually know where to find any of those in it. But everything inside looks to be attached properly.

my questions were just standard issues that can produce overheating.
honestly, since your PC is new and you are still under warranty, i would contact the Acer support service or your seller.
