    Thanks a lot,
But do you think that updating BIOS would make any difference with my problem plugging 512MB in slot 2 not working.

If no, I wouldn't bother myself to update the BIOS.

I've seen some posts on other forum, that 5220 supported 4GB memory in 2+2 configuration. Others have claimed that it was working fine for them. I've personaly updated only to 3GB and this was working beautifully in W7 and Fedora14. As i wrote before - this config was working only in specific configuration - 2GB dimm on lower bank. I've never tested this on BIOS lower than 1.35. It' quite old version - release date is april 2008. That's almost a date when I've bought this Extensa Smiley Happy

    Thanks a lot
You would not like to answer my question about if updating  my BIOS from v:1.16 into V1.35 would be beneficial and doing something beautiful with my machine.

As you might read, to successfully update my BIOS's version from V1.16 into 1.35, I would be updating gradually from 1.16 into 1.35.
