15 Inch Acer Spatiallabs display ASV15-1B failing USB detection

After troubleshooting on several PCs with different releases of the Spatiallabs Experience Center I still receive this error in Windows: "Device Descriptor Request Failed". The HDMI connection is recognized, but USB is not, so the Display is unusable for 3D.

I am suspecting the Display has a hardware problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

The Acer SpatialLabs display (ASV15-1B) failing USB detection when the HDMI connection is recognized can indicate a hardware issue with the display or a problem with the USB connection itself. Users have reported similar issues where the SpatialLabs software doesn't detect the USB connection, preventing 3D functionality even though the HDMI is working. This can be a frustrating issue, as it renders the display unusable for its intended purpose of glasses-free 3D.

Here's a breakdown of potential causes and troubleshooting steps:
    Possible Causes:
    Defective Unit:
A faulty USB controller or connection on the display itself is a possibility.
    Software/Driver Issues:
Problems with the SpatialLabs Experience Center software, drivers, or even Windows settings (like USB selective suspend) can cause detection failures.
    Hardware Conflicts:
Other devices connected to the computer might be interfering with the display's USB connection.
    Cable/Port Issues:
While less likely if you've tested multiple cables and ports, a faulty USB cable or port on the computer could be the culprit.

Thanks for getting back to me.

After troubleshooting on 4 different PCs with different cables, software versions and another Spatiallabs screen I own that is working, I'm afraid their is a hardware issue with this display.
How do I initiate a repair request?

    Thanks
