Any one have any idea what could be causing it?, this is the second time Ive had charging related problems with this PC, last time my charger got burnt in a weird spot, now my new charger, a completely different type seems to be shaking as well as the blinking lights thing.

Hey @Seqaeon — sorry to hear the charger woes continue. Just a quick tip: adapters with straight-angle plugs tend to be more durable, especially with setups where the cable gets bent or tugged frequently. Strain on the connector or cable head can silently wear out the internals over time, even if the outer casing looks fine.

If you’re grabbing another unit, might be worth picking one with reinforced strain relief or a straight plug design to give it a better shot at longevity.

Also—make sure the plug fits snug and doesn’t wobble in the port. A loose connection can create micro-arcing, which definitely wouldn’t help those blinking power lights.

Don't know which exact Acer Nitro V model you have, like if its the ANV15 =-xx or the ANV16-xx laptops, but both are supplied from Acer with the 135W 1.7x5.5x11 barrel plug adapter and not a 180W adapter like you are showing. The LiteOn and the Chicony adapters that you show in the captions, is the brands of adapters that Acer uses for these laptops as oem adapters.

If you want to use a different adapter that Acer uses for these Nitro V laptops, buy the DELTA 19.5V 9.23A Laptop AC Adapter DELTA19.5V9.23A180W-5.5x1.7mm with the yellow tip barrel plug that you have in the caption above, as its the same size plug and is a 1,7 mm wide x 5,5mm long plug so the plug should work in your Nitro V laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

Thanks Puraw, actually the design of both chargers make it that there is bascially no need for the chargers to be bent at all.
