i recently bought SwiftGO SFG16-72 CoreUltra-9

  1. USB-C still powered on after shutdown i already tried updating BIOS still does not solve the issue.
  2. Intel Virtualization is turned on in bios yet unable to run applications that needed virtualization ( for example VirtualBox and Nox android emulator )
  3. keybord backlight keep turning off by itself after set amount of idle time.

this really effecting my progress of switching my work PC now i end up using two PC instead.

so i should wait until new BIOS release with all those fixes or is my acer defective ?

this is really stupid of me i should have buy Lenovo instead.

Hi the Keyboard time-out can be disabled in BIOS (see picture, red box).
USB power management can be disabled in Device Manager (tick the box, see picture).
Check in Windows Services that HV Host Service is running and if not do this:
Open PowerShell as administrator and run: powershell as Administrator
    Get-WindowsFeature -Name Hyper-V
If it's not installed, enable it using: powershell
    Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -
Open Hyper-V Manager (Win + S, search for Hyper-V Manager).
Ensure virtual machines are running properly.

With your Swift GO SFG16-72 make sure that you have the last bios version 1.18 installed and all the Wn-11 24H2 and its updates to its last OS build: 26100.4202 installed, as doing all that will ensure that your Swift laptop performs to its best performance. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Answers to your questions:

    • USB-C power is set to work after the laptop sleep or is turned off, its useful for charging purposes, so why do you want to turn it off?
    • With the VTX and VTD settings, you need to have both of these settings enabled in bios, so that the Oracle Virtual Box is to work, as no matter what bios version is installed these settings should work with virtualisation.
    • The keyboard backlight is preset from Acer and can't be reset to a different timing.

    1. i know there is USB-C power to on after shutdown option and it is not working even when it is set to off ( if not working do not put into management UI as simple as that ) , but my problem is i don't want that to be turned on because i am not always use it as a laptop. it stays on my desk that is annoying all the externals fans still on even after shutdown. to give rest for my devices connected to USB-C now is restless even when turned off. i had to remove the USB-C by my self all the time.
Note : the power supply lives at temperatures up to 50-60 daily even when turned off the power supply never seems to be able to rest if this feature not working.
    2. when i am saying it does not reflected on windows means as is. i already did enabled those in BIOS a few times and i enabled Hyper-V on windows a few times also. that is why i am saying the BIOS and windows having a little disagreement. that is my question.
    3. the keyboard light is preset to turned off from ACER acceptable but that is not a good idea i use it in dark environment most of the time all my lenovo never do such stunts on me.
