One long continuous beep, generally means that there is a memory related fault which can prevent your PO5-640 desktop from starting up. Check the ram and its placements and make sure that you have inserted the ram modules like in the below list and also check that the ram pins are not damaged (clean them also) as that could cause a ram error post boot. Good luck.

PO5-640 DIMM 1 to 4 proper ram capacities and placement positions

Try to clear the CMOS as is instructed by Acer below and see if this fixes the long beep issue:

Otherwise there are many other troubleshooting steps to fix these issues that are too many to list here and that you can or can't fix yourself, best is to take your desktop to an experienced technician that can pinpoint the exact fault of your desktop and fix them. Good luck and hope this give you some guides.

A long, continuous beep from a PO5-640 computer during startup is typically an error code from the BIOS indicating a hardware issue, most commonly related to memory (RAM). It could also be a sign of a faulty motherboard, CPU, or other component.
Here's a breakdown of potential causes and troubleshooting steps:-

    Possible Causes:
    RAM Issues:
Unseated or Faulty RAM: The most common cause is a loose or faulty RAM stick. Try reseating or cleaning the RAM contacts.
Incorrect RAM Configuration: Ensure the RAM sticks are installed in the correct slots for optimal performance.
Overclocking Issues: If you have overclocked your RAM, try restoring it to default settings.
    Motherboard Issues:
Faulty Motherboard: A faulty motherboard can also cause beep codes. Check the motherboard manual for specific error codes and their meanings.
BIOS Issues: The BIOS might be corrupted or have lost settings. Try clearing the CMOS or flashing the BIOS.
    Other Components:
CPU or GPU: A failed CPU or GPU can also cause beep codes. Try disconnecting and reseating these components.
Power Supply: A failing power supply can cause instability, potentially leading to beep codes.
    Peripheral Issues:
Keyboard or Mouse: If you have a malfunctioning keyboard or mouse, it might also trigger beep codes.
    Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Check the Beep Code:
Refer to your motherboard manual or online resources for the specific beep code and its meaning.
    2. Reseat RAM:
Disconnect the power cord, open the computer case, and remove and reseat the RAM sticks.
    3. Test with One Stick:
Try booting with only one RAM stick in a specific slot to isolate any faulty sticks.
    4. Clean RAM Contacts:
Gently clean the RAM contacts and the DIMM slots with an eraser and a soft cloth.
    5. Check BIOS Settings:
Enter the BIOS settings and make sure they are set correctly, especially regarding RAM.
    6. Update BIOS (if necessary):
If the BIOS is old, consider updating it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
    7. Isolate Components:
Remove all unnecessary devices and peripherals to isolate the issue.
    8. Check Power Supply:
If the power supply is old or failing, consider testing or replacing it.
