Can I upgrade my RAM? I want to update my Aspire A515-58GM. The system says that it is acceptable up to 64GB, but the actual RAM is 16GB. I have one slot free. What is the maximum permitted for this model?

I appreciate any information. Thanks!

The Aspire A515-58M memory can't be upgraded, this laptop has On Board Memory of either 8GB / 16GB or 32GB at DDR5-4800 MT/S which is soldered on memory and has no removable memory slots for memory to be upgradeable.

We regret to inform you that the model you have specified does not have an easily attachable and removable slot. This model laptop has a maximum of 32gb ram support. This ram section is soldered. You can ask your local Acer authorized service if an upgrade is possible. A visual is attached below.

The biggest reason why the problems are not solvedis if someone who says there is a problem with the GPU says; If I change the case, will the problem be solved? That's the whole point! The concepts are different! We should not go off topic.

ACER Aspire 5 515-58GM memory CAN be upgraded! It does not have soldered LPDDR chips! Why are people here post erroneous information? I have this model, and assuming the original poster stated the model number correctly, it is upgradable! (OP mentioned he has 1 slot free, remember?).

See motherboard photo of RAM in my unrelated post from few days ago here:

Regarding max RAM I am not sure tbh. Depends on which CPU you have, for example i7-13620H in my model in theory supports up to 96 GB DDR5 (but it came with 2x8 GB DDR4 factory).
