Correct and latest Realteck drivers are installed according to Windows 11. What else can I do to resolve this problem?

Let's few steps you can try to resolve this.

To adjust the audio settings, begin by right-clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar and selecting "Sounds." Then, navigate to the Playback tab, choose your speakers, and click Properties. Within the Advanced tab, experiment by modifying the default audio format, such as switching to 24-bit, 48000 Hz, and uncheck "Exclusive Mode" to disable it.
Also, to disable audio enhancements, open the Properties window, navigate to the Enhancements tab, and select the option to Disable all enhancements.

Test with External Audio. Plug in headphones or external speakers to see if the issue persists. If it doesn't, the internal speakers might be faulty.

Reinstall Audio Drivers. Uninstall the current audio driver via Device Manager. Download the latest Realtek audio drivers for your model from Acer's official website. Aspire A515-56 Downloads

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Hi, the above message disappeared before I finished the message. I thought I had lost it until I saw it when I started to write this message.

I uninstalled the Driver and downloaded the Realtek one from Acer and allowed it to install when I restarted my PC. The sound is now back to normal.

Thank you for helping me on this.

    Thanks for replying so quickly.

I checked all the settings, and the audio was bad on each.

I tried wireless buds, but they would not pair, nor would some wireless headphones. I had an old pair of wired earphones connected, and the sound was still bad.

If your Acer Aspire A515-56 laptop is experiencing crackly sound, try updating or reinstalling your audio drivers. You can also try adjusting audio enhancements or using external speakers/headphones to see if the problem persists

    Troubleshooting Steps:-

    1. Update Audio Drivers:
Go to Device Manager (search for it in the Windows search bar).
Expand "Sound, video and game controllers."
Right-click on your audio device (likely Realtek or Intel).
      Select "Update driver."
Choose "Search automatically for drivers" or "Browse my computer for drivers."
If Windows can't find an update, try downloading the latest drivers from the Acer website or the manufacturer of your audio chip (Realtek, etc.).
    2. Reinstall Audio Drivers:
Follow the same steps as above, but instead of updating, select "Uninstall device."
Restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the drivers.
    3. Adjust Audio Enhancements:
Open the Sound settings (search for it in the Windows search bar).
      Go to the "Sound" tab.
Under "Playback," select your active speaker device.
Click "Properties" and then the "Enhancements" tab.
Disable or adjust any enhancements that might be causing the issue, like "Low-frequency emphasis" or "Soundfield."
    4. Test with External Speakers/Headphones:
Connect external speakers or headphones to your laptop.
If the crackling is gone, it means the issue is with the internal speakers.
If the crackling persists, the issue is likely with the audio drivers or other software settings.
