OK, so a 2018 vintage system that's AMD based. Do you see any errors in Event Viewer that match up to the time of the failure? There will be a bunch of entries during the restart but there should be something helping to pin down the error that caused the restart.

If your Acer Aspire or Veriton desktop is restarting without a clear reason, it could be due to hardware issues, software problems, or even overheating. To diagnose and potentially fix the issue, you can try several troubleshooting steps like checking your system for recent software updates, running a startup repair, and verifying your hardware.
    Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Check for Recent Software Updates:
Ensure your operating system is up to date. Outdated software can sometimes cause instability and random restarts.
You can also check for updates to your drivers, especially graphics drivers, as they can sometimes cause issues.
    2. Run Startup Repair:
If the computer restarts repeatedly, try running the Windows Startup Repair tool. This tool can automatically diagnose and repair common boot issues.
Access the Startup Repair by repeatedly pressing and holding the power button to force a shutdown until you see the "preparing automatic repair" screen.
Then, navigate through the options to select Startup Repair.
    3. Verify Hardware:
Power Supply: A faulty power supply can cause erratic behavior.
RAM: Ensure your RAM is properly seated and not faulty.
Hard Drive: If you suspect a hard drive issue, you can run the chkdsk /R command to check for errors.
Overheating: Ensure your computer's cooling system is functioning correctly and that the computer is not overheating.
    4. Safe Mode:
Boot into Safe Mode to see if the restarts are happening because of a software conflict. If the restarts stop in Safe Mode, it suggests a software issue.
To boot into Safe Mode, you'll need to access the Advanced Startup options (similar to the Startup Repair) and select Safe Mode.
    5. Check Event Viewer:
The Event Viewer logs system events, including errors and warnings. Review the log for any clues about why the computer is restarting.
You can access Event Viewer by searching for it in the Start menu.
    6. Hard Reset (If necessary):
If the computer is completely unresponsive, try a hard reset by unplugging the power cable, holding down the power button for 30 seconds to drain residual power, and then reconnecting the power cable.
