Hi,

By mistake I have uninstalled something at appwiz.cpl at Windows 11.

After this I have installed:

  1. Realtek Audio Driver
  2. Windows x ⇒ m ⇒ Sound, video and game controllers
    1. right click at ⇒ Realtek® audio
    2. Update driver

None of them helped me to resolve audio on Windows 11 at my acer laptop

Reinstall Audio Driver via Device Manager:

    • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand the section labeled Sound, video and game controllers.
    • Right-click on your audio device (e.g., Realtek High Definition Audio) and select Uninstall device.
    • Check the option to Delete the driver software for this device, then click Uninstall.
    • Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the audio driver upon reboot

IF above steps doesn't work then Uninstall Audio Driver Using DDU in Safe Mode

    1. Download DDU:
      • Download Display Driver Uninstaller from its official website.
    2. Boot into Safe Mode:
      • Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter.
      • Under the Boot tab, check Safe boot and select Minimal. Click Apply and restart.
    3. Run DDU:
      • Open the extracted DDU folder and run the application.
      • Select Audio as the driver type.
    4. Uninstall Driver:
      • Click on Clean and Restart to remove the audio driver.
    5. Exit Safe Mode:
      • Open msconfig, uncheck Safe boot, apply changes, and restart your computer.

Your audio driver will now be uninstalled!

    6. Now download install audio using using below link I provided-

    @murugesanopenssl

Start by downloading the correct audio driver from Acer's official support page. Enter your laptop model on their site, select "Windows 11," and look for the Realtek audio driver in the "Driver" section. Install the downloaded driver and restart your laptop. This step often resolves missing or corrupted driver problems.

If the issue persists, check the Device Manager by pressing Windows Key + X. Expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section, right-click "Realtek® audio," and choose "Update driver" to search for updates. You can also use the built-in Windows troubleshooter found in Settings > System > Sound, which automatically detects and resolves sound problems. Make sure the speakers are set as the default device under the "Sounds" settings and test the audio.

Click on "Yes" if it answers your question or Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful

One sample error from Windows 11:

    olk.exe Alt space c

to close outlook will not close outlook 100%

When I reported this error to Windows support team a year ago

    the response was:

use Alt F4 to close olk without using Alt Space C buttons
