Hi, don't try to run your laptop without a battery, Windows will shut the system down or the laptop won't boot without battery. Run a battery report: paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, right click or press Ctrl+P and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", attach the report to your reply, type @Puraw or use "Quote" when you reply so I will get an alert.

If your Acer Aspire 7 isn't powering on, try a hard reset by disconnecting the power cord, removing the battery (if possible), holding the power button for 30 seconds, and then reconnecting everything.
- Basic Checks:
Power Source:
Ensure the laptop is connected to a working power outlet and the power adapter is functioning correctly.
Power LED:
Check if the power LED is lit when the power adapter is connected. If not, the power supply might be faulty.
External Devices:
Remove any external storage devices (USB drives, SD cards) or peripherals (docks, hubs, monitors) as these can sometimes prevent the laptop from booting. - Hard Reset (Power Cycle):
Unplug and Remove Battery (if possible): Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if it's a removable type).
Press and Hold Power Button: Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power.
Reinsert Battery and Reconnect Power: Reinsert the battery (if applicable) and reconnect the power adapter.
Try to Power On: Attempt to power on the laptop. - Battery Reset Pinhole (if applicable):
Locate the Pinhole: On some Acer laptops, there's a small pinhole (battery reset pinhole) on the bottom or back, usually with a battery symbol nearby.
Use a Paperclip: Insert a paperclip or similar tool into the pinhole and hold it for 15-30 seconds.
Release and Try Powering On: Release the paperclip and then attempt to power on the laptop. - Safe Mode:
Try to Boot into Safe Mode:
If the laptop still won't power on normally, try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issue is software-related.
