I opened up my laptop and remove the battery so I can order one. But then I realize the cable can be reversed?
Is it possible to break the laptop if ever I installed the battery cable in wrong position?

Hi, the battery cable is fixed to the battery and the plug (see picture) will only fit the correct way in the battery slot on the motherboard, cannot be reversed. If you try to force the battery plug in the slot the wrong way, yes, you will reverse the polarity and damage the motherboard.

The 2 Red wires should be positioned on the side of the HDD bay, not on the fan side (see this video) How To Replacement Battery Laptop Acer E5 475G | Mr Block Fix Replacement Batter Acer Laptop

What is the full model no of your Acer Aspire E5 laptop?

To find the model number of your Acer laptop, you can check the bottom of the laptop where most Acer laptops have a sticker that includes the model number. Alternatively, you can use the System Information tool on Windows by pressing Windows + R to open the Run dialog, typing msinfo32, and pressing Enter. This will open the System Information window, where you can find the model number under "System Model."

Thanks! Also another question, is it safe to assume once i got the new ordered battery I just plug and play it?
Or is there other thing i have to do for safe installation?

When you receive your new battery for the Acer Aspire E5, there are a few steps you should follow to ensure a safe and proper installation:
Turn Off and Unplug: Make sure your laptop is turned off and unplugged from any power source.Insert the new battery into the battery bay. If it's an internal battery, connect the battery connector to the motherboard. Reattach it and secure it with the backcove and screws.
Plug in your laptop and allow the new battery to charge fully before using it on battery power. Ensure your system's battery drivers are up to date. You can check for updates through the Device Manager. Following these steps should help you safely install your new battery.

A new laptop battery requires one Full Charge Cycle procedure, that needs to be repeated when you reinstall or upgrade a Windows version for BIOS and MS ACPI battery protocol to register the full capacity of your battery, failing to do this will result in bad statistics (old battery data is used) and incorrect battery meter readings, also Windows10 power management will throttle the power arbitrarily to preserve energy. Disable Fast Startup in Windows "Change what closing the lid does" and "Change settings currently unavailable" and reset the Power Plan to factory default in "Edit Power Plan". Also boot to BIOS with F2 and reset BIOS with F9 and save changes with F10. Shut down the formal way with the Start and Power-Shut down icon on the taskbar. Close the lid. Plug in the power adapter and charge till the amber battery LED turns blue and wait an extra 5 minutes. Open the lid, boot to Windows and verify that the battery meter on the taskbar reads 100%, Unplug the power adapter and work all day with your laptop on battery only till it turns itself off, don't touch the power button, don't go in suspend or sleep mode just work normally till it shuts down, don't worry you won't lose data. Close the lid and plug in the adapter, charge till the amber battery LED turns blue and wait and extra 5 minutes. That's it. Don't use Acer Care Center, Battery Optimizer, Battery Calibration or 80% battery charge limiter options, don't download any Battery Monitoring bloatware, just use Windows10 Battery Report: paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, right click or press Ctrl+P and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", keep the PDF file as a record to compare it once a year or so with a new battery report to see what your battery wear is and if the adapter is still charging properly. If you have any questions, you can attach the battery report to your post to @Puraw.
