Hi. I have some questions and problems with Acer Nitro V15 ANV15-41 laptop:

  1. ANV15-41 that I have has only 8 gb of RAM, but I often see, that other people have 16 gb of RAM in their not upgraided ANV15-41. Does it normaly have 8 or 16 gb of RAM?
  2. I have a problem with NitroSense programm. It doesn worked from when I have laptop, so I reinstoled it from offical website and it still wont run. I dont really know where is the problem, but I have some suspicions, wich are dedicated to my next problem.
  3. My ANV15-41 have Windows 10 OS instoled, but as I see in the official website all of the drivers are dedicated to Windows 11 and this is probably why NitroSense wont work. But it realy dont have enought RAM to normaly work on Windows 11. Even on Windows 10 just to run it takes half of RAM, and runing browser and needed programms takes allmost all of memory. Im not enen talking about gaming. Right now with 6 pages on browser and some basic programs (NVIDIA, Discord, Telegram, Hamachi) I have only 15% of it left unused.
  4. Probably this problem is the part of other. My GeForce RTX 2050 is runing hot. Just from doing literaly nothing it heats up to 40-50 C and in games it heats up to 75-85 C. Is it realy normal for gaming laptop to have such a high tepmeratures? Or its still a part of NitroSense problem, because this programm controlls speed of the fans in laptop?

Hi, 75-85° C is the normal temp. range for this model and 8GB is sufficient memory for running Windows11 but if you have a lot of programs installed you may want to upgrade to 16GB DDR5 RAM, just buy another 8GB DDR5-4800 MT/s RAM module exactly the same brand, size speed and part number than is installed.

Open Task Manager-processes and check how many programs are running at the background, if more than 80 you should uninstall some you don't use, also disable the Startup programs in Task Manager you don't need. Below a table with Acer tested RAM modules

If you find that your laptop has only 8 GB of RAM, you can upgrade it to 16 GB or even 32 GB by adding another RAM module. If you're experiencing performance issues due to limited RAM, upgrading your RAM could help improve overall performance and allow you to run Windows 11 more smoothly. Restart your computer and try to launch NitroSense again. Uninstall and reinstall NitroSense from the official Acer website. Make sure to download the correct version for your laptop model.

The temperatures you're seeing for your GeForce RTX 2050 are within the normal range for a gaming laptop. However, if you're concerned about the temperatures, you can ensure that your laptop's cooling system is functioning properly and that the vents are not blocked. Additionally, you can use a cooling pad to help dissipate heat. Consider propping up your laptop with two books on either side to improve airflow and cooling performance even further

    1. It will depend on some configurations. Different configurations will have the 16GB of RAM installed from the factory.
    2. The new NitroSense app might not work on Windows 10
    3. This model should have Windows 11 to be compatible with all the new drivers. For the large RAM usage, Windows will allocate some of the disk space for virtual RAM if the physical 8GB is full. You should add another 8GB stick to make a total of 16 GB.
    4. Around 80C is a fine temperature during gaming, a laptop cooler will help a bit in reducing the temperature.

I have the same Nitro V with the Intel version. The temperature during gaming is around 70C for both CPU and GPU with the fan set to auto after I have repasted with the PTM7950.

    Hi, ACR48S40BS6MA and KVR48S40BS6-8 are identical: DDR5-8GB 1Rx16 1G x 64-Bit, PC5-4800 CL40 262-Pin SODIMM
they should work in Dual Channel mode. Only the thermals are slightly different.

    Thanks for answers.

I have one last question: you gave me a list of RAM planks, but I dont really know how to get information about what plank (Hinix or Kingston) is in my laptop exept from opening it. On the website where I bought it I cant see information about it. Is there is a way to see what plank is in my laptop? Or it doesnt realy matter - I get the same or the different another plank kind of RAM?

And also - in the list you gave me mentioned only 5600 MHz planks, but my laptop has 4800 MHz plank. Is difference in frequency matter? I mean - isnt there will be a problems if frequency of planks is deferent?

    Thanks.

Hi, you will have to open the laptop eventually to install the new 8GB module so you may as well do that now, use the correct screwdriver type and size otherwise you will strip the screws and don't use too much force. If you want to wait to open the laptop run this WMIC command in the command prompt and note the part number, post the RAM module part number and I will give you a link where to get it or just google the part number on the web: wmic memorychip list full

    Hi. Here you go.

I see that the number of the memory is ACR48S40BS6MA-8AM, so I searched it, but mine search didnt went well. I found a lot of KVR48S40 planks, but eventually not a one ACR48S40.

Im really started to think that they are just the same RAM. 😅 (Is they are?)

And when I tried to search on the Acer website… well, I did not serched 😑

I just cannot get acces into their parts site. Maybe thats because Im not from US or EU.
