N50-656 Nitrosense not displaying stats or functioning, should I reinstall after game installation?

Something happened and now nitrosense does not display any statistics on the home page and the scenario and monitoring pages are also non-functional. I just finished installing an Xbox/EA game but then nitrosense could have been previously corrupted since I haven't used it within the last month. Everything else seems to work. Any suggestions? Do I have to reinstall nitrosense?

Here are the steps:

Uninstall Nitrosense
Go to Acer's website and download Nitrosense for your specific model
Extract folder and run Setup.exe
Run Command prompt as Administrator
type in the following (without the quotation marks): ".\lodctr.exe /R"
Go back to the folder where you extracted Nitrosense
Go into "Nitrosense V3.1" folder
Run APPXBUNDLE file

After that, Nitrosense immediately launched, and now it's back on my Taskbar, running every time I click on it.

Repair WMI:

-Open Cmd as administrator and Run the below commands one by one-

winmgmt /salvagerepository

winmgmt /verifyrepository

winmgmt /resetrepository

-Restart your windows and check nitrosense

I tried your suggestion running all 3 commands followed by restart, and it did not fix the problem.

I wonder if this is related to Windows 11 24H2 update which was installed on January 29 (it was a forced update so I had no choice). That was during the interval in which I was not using Nitrosense so the issue could have gone undetected until now.

There were two additional updates after the 24H2 update, KB5051987 (installed Feb 12) which is a quality update and also KB2890375 (installed Feb 13) which is a Visual C++ update. I tried uninstalling KB5051987 but after a mandatory restart Windows automatically installed KB5050009 and the issue was not fixed. After a second restart Windows reinstalled KB5051987 and my system is back to where I started before uninstalling the update, and the Nitrosense issue remains. It's a long shot but I wonder if uninstalling KB2890375 Visual C++ update might work?

I noticed that another user posted on the same date as me that their Predator Sense is not working and the screen shot they posted is virtually the same as mine, except mine is Nitro Sense, with the same "Discrete GPU is idle" message and none of the statistics being reported.

The uncanny similarity leads me to believe that there is a common element of Nitro Sense and Predator Sense that is causing the issue, and that is most likely (you guessed it) Windows!

I welcome any other suggestions on what to do to fix this issue.

Ok, I have tried everything except to reinstall the nitrosense app.

I downloaded the nitrosense installation file from the Acer support website for version 4.2.126 (my current version is 4.2.123) and extracted the compressed folder. However, in addition to the NitroSense4_Setup.exe file there are other folders including one called Setup, which contains Prerequisites installer, and another folder UWP that contains several APPX files. Do I need to install the Prerequisites first or one of the APPX files before running the .exe file? I have read other posts that seem to indicate that you have to do something like that before running the .exe file.

I just want to be sure I do the installation correctly. And if I'm not mistaken I have to uninstall the old nitrosense app AND the nitrosense installer before reinstalling.

I uninstalled Nitrosense and the Nitrosense installer from Windows 11 Settings→Apps screen, then ran NitroSense4_Setup.exe from extracted folder.

Nitrosense is working fine now. No need to go through steps 4-8.
