So I recently bought the Acer Swift Go 14 OLED SFG14-73. Everything's going well but the media mode touchpad does not work with Brave browser. It works when I play media (Netflix, Youtube, etc) with Edge and Chrome. Is there anyway to fix this?

Contact the developers of the browser and ask them to support media mode… It's not something Acer can do.

Sinc3e media mode is working with other apps, we know it's not a problem with the laptop or OS, which pins it down to the app itself…

Im facing similar problems right now on Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73). It seems like the PixArt Touchpad Driver is needed for the touchpad media controls to work. I installed it and it tries to start PxiTpService.exe in the background. When i start the PxiTpService.exe, the cpu starts running high until i kill the process with task manager.

My touchpad media controls also does not work. I can see all of them, but only volume control is responding. When i touch on play/paus, next, forward and fullscreen, nothing happens.

My guess is that either the driver or something with .NET-Framework is corrupt. When you open Windows Eventviewer, you can see an application error and .NET-Framework error for the PxiTpService.exe.

So this looks like something with the driver/service itself is wrong and we have to wait for an update.

I also contacted Acer support about this, but the only resonded that it is a hardware problem and my laptop has to be repaired. Maybe give me a like or a response, if you have the same problem shown in Eventviewer.
