RGB keyboard on predator helios (NOT THE NEO), not working after motherboard replacement

So had my motherboard replaced due to overheating and self shut down problems and the problem in the title, I've actually had it before. When I just bought the laptop predator sense did not work AT ALL, whatsoever, but that luckily isn't the problem right now. My problem now is that my keyboard is stuck on this blue light and whatever I do I can't change it. Predator sense just doesn't do anything. I've tried reinstalling predator sense, downgrading predator sense, uninstalling the HID for the keyboard, manually starting acer lighting services. NOTHING, at all, works. I don't recall how I fixed it the first time I had this problem back in July. What I do notice is that "acerlightingservices" shuts down automatically, however I can not seem to make it work whatever I try. When I manually start it, it'll just turn off in a few seconds. If I set it on a failure script, when it turns of it'd attempt to restart the service, it just gets into an endless loop of trying to restart it. Please someone help me. I've got everything up to date, it's purely acerlightingservices stopping automatically and predator sense not being able to change the lighting…

If Acer technicians changed the mobo for your PH18 or 16-xx model laptop then get them to fix the "acerlightingservices" problems for your laptop, don't try and do anything yourself as they can and will void the warranty if you do something that will corrupt anything and or you open the laptop, be aware that any parts on these laptops are hugely expensive if you need to pay for a mobo yourself, just look at what a mobo costs. i suggest that you take/send the laptop back and get Acer to repair these issues 100% even if its a software problem, as it could be related to your new mobo. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, i'll stay away from trying to fix the problem myself in that case. However I do have to add the keyboard did work with the setup progress, it was after I did a few updates that the lights just stopped working. So unsure if it's indeed the MOBO

I've been using the Predator Neo PHN16-71 model since before Christmas and I've done a clean install of Win-11 24H2, NVidia gpu updates, bios updates, changed ram to 64GB and installed a brand new boot M.2 SSD 1TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe with Heatsink and an extra slave 1TB M.2 SSD drive and no update or upgrade affected any of the laptops keyboard lights or anything else on this laptop, this laptop works perfectly and very speedily as that is how your laptop should work too with especially a new mobo, so it could be a connection power cable issue to the mobo or the actual keyboard that its LEDs have failed and that all needs to be looked at by an Acer technician, if these parts need to changed as your laptop should function perfectly. Good luck.

I do not have the NEO, i have the normal helios. Also when I first got my laptop I had the EXACT, same problem. I managed to fix it back then but I really don't remember how I did it back then. Def everything screwed up after setting up/updating. So either a program is interfering or an update just didn't go as it should. I'll be doing a clean reset when I'm home again in about a week and see if it's fixed then. If not I'll send out my laptop to them again..
