My AN515-58-78CT restarting, getting BSODS and powering off randomly after Update. Model no:N22C1

I purchased this laptop a year ago. It suddenly started getting BSODs and restarting randomly for no reason. It started on October 3rd. I noticed a Windows update happened that day, but it was only an antivirus update.
I also tried switching out my RAM, but it didn't stop anything. I think that it may be a CPU memory controller problem, but I also think that it could be a BIOS problem. Can someone help?

    Freezing, booting, BSOD and power issues of a laptop from either operating system or hardware issue problems could come from many sources with in a laptop. The basic and first thing is to try and do a reset of your Nitro laptop completely (that is if you are computer savvy and know how to disassemble a laptop?) if you don't and your laptop is under warranty, then take it to your Acer Support. as you need to firstly do a hard reset. As all those symptoms that you have written and described above, are because your Nitro laptop windows or its graphics and other drivers and even a bios update is needed or it could be from other issues or a hardware fault but mostly corrupted drivers etc. that needs to be analyzed by Acer and/or an experienced technician.

    Try doing a hard reset:

    Remove the back case cover (undo the 11 screws) and from the top vents pry the back case open to wards you, as it should open.
    Take the RAM out and disconnect the main battery and take it out of the laptop case.
    Disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery (which is the little black round battery)
    Clean the RAM pins and motherboard plug also, leave both of these batteries disconnected for 5 min to reset the laptop, as pressing the power button for 15 sec doesn't do a hard reset.
    Reconnect the RAM first, then the RTC/BIOS battery and then the main battery, boot your laptop up (be patient as this could take up to 2min for your laptop to boot).

    All the above steps should boot your laptop up without freezing but and if your OS is corrupted and has driver problems then you need to do a "Reset your PC-Keep my files" and then make sure that you update Windows to its latest updates (would help if you told us, which OS you are running?) update all the Intel integrated graphics, chipset and other drivers (best is to install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and scan your laptop) and also make sure that the NVidia graphics drivers are all up to date, as all this appropriately done should stop the software from freezing, otherwise there is a hardware problem that needs either Acer or an experienced technician to look at your Nitro laptop and analyze and fix it.     Random BSODs after a Windows update could stem from various issues, including BIOS compatibility, corrupted drivers, or hardware. Start by rolling back or reinstalling the update and updating the BIOS to the latest version.

    So I did a hard reset, but it didn't work. Then I Tried reseting my pc but something happened and it just says unspecified domain or something when I try to sign in. The only account that shows up is 'administrator'. This was a personal laptop. So now I am doing a clean install of windows, but no partition showed up when I was installing it.
    Apparently changing the SATA setting in the BIOS can fix it but idk how to change it(or even find it). ctrl + s isnt showing the SATA setting.
    Can someone help me figure out how to do a clean install

    Random BSODs can happen from hubs or an outside USB connection that you have connected to your AN515-58 that can conflict with your laptop hardware also, as that is what happened to my AN515-56 when I had the hub of my tablet cooler connected to one of the USB right side ports and all of sudden it was giving me restarts, so be aware of these factors too.

    Also, don't change anything in the bios, as the bios should work in the default setting mode perfectly. After you have done a clean install of Win-11 version: 24H2 then update all the updates so that its updated to OS version: 26100.2314 which is the latest version. And then update the bios to the last version: 2.14 and also update the VBIOS firmware version: 1.04a and if you are using the oem supplied WD M.2 SSD then do the firmware update for that too that Acer provides in the AN515-58 support

    To do a proper and full Clean Install, first construct a bootable 8GB USB with Rufus 4.5 and follow their guide, download the Win-11 ,ISO file and also download the AN515-58 IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver version: 19.2.0.1003 and put this driver onto that bootable USB also, then when you get to the Win-11 installation section “Where do you want to install Windows? > Load driver > install the IRST driver so that you can continue the installation. Then finish the Win-11 installation do all the updates, then do the above. Good luck and hope this helps you out some more.
