My laptop is predator helios neo 16(2023 model) rtx 4050.

When the battery charging is turned off, the display screen fades slowly. If charging is on again, this fade problem is fixed. Is this normal? Or any problem? How to solve this problem? Need to change any settings?

Hi, when you unplug the power adapter, Windows battery saver kicks-in and the system throttles power to the GPU trying to save battery power, this results in diminished system performance including the screen brightness. For this reason, you should leave the power adapter plugged-in 24/7 and keep the battery charged 100%.

Sometimes, the refresh rate on your laptop might be changed for some reason, leading to screen fading out or black when plugging or unplugging charger. In this case, increasing the refresh rate might help you out.

First uninstall all bloatware on your laptop like 3rd-party browsers, virus checkers and trial versions, open Task Manager-Processes and check how many background apps are running, should not be more than 70, get rid of the ones you are not using. Your power plan is probably Balanced (default) but you may have Power mode set to Best Power Efficiency with the battery saver enabled (see picture) change that to balanced or Best Performance. Like I stated above leave the adapter plugged-in 24/7 and make sure the battery is always 100% charged.
