Hello,

I just bought a Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition and it comes with SpatialLabs Experience Center Pro, which doesn't have Truegame in it. How can I get Truegame on my 3D laptop please?

  • I looked in the microsoft store and there is no Spatiallabs stuff (I'm from Europe)
  • I tried to look in the drivers section on Acer Support for my laptop and there is only the Experience Center Pro, which doesn't have Truegame
  • I tried to download the regular Experience Center from the drivers of another Spatiallabs device but upon instaling, it detects that it's not the same device and says not compatible, download the Experience Center Pro instead

Is Acer blocking this 3D Spatiallabs laptop from having truegame? Cause that would be really scammy considering this laptop's specs are more than enough to play games, especially since a lot of games on the Truegame list are not that demanding. That would be a sure way I ask for a refund and never buy anything Acer again.

Though if there is a solution to have Truegame on the Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition then please let me know 🙏 I even read a review of this exact laptop that mentionned the games.

I believe it is a Windows Store item. Here's two strings from ExperienceCenter main.js that might help:

    powershell -command "Get-AppxPackage -Name AcerIncorporated.TrueGame"

    start shell:AppsFolder\AcerIncorporated.TrueGame_48frkmn4z8aw4!TrueGame

Ok, so my info was not helpful. Here's another post that will probably be better:

    Hello,

Contacting the Acer support they got me a download link a few days later but I already returned the computer by that time. At the high price of 1800€ it wasn't a good sign that I had to troubleshoot right out of the box. Moreover, I did try 3D videos and 3D movies with both the spatiallabs viewer and spatiallabs go and I wasn't impressed with what I saw. Moving my head around even slowly was breaking the illusion in a way similar to 3D lenticular postcards. It didn't feel like what I saw had a solid 3 dimensional presence because of the ghosting. The depth wasn't going that far in or out of the screen. I would have given it more of a chance if it was much cheaper but 1800€ was a really big expense for my budget and that was already too much issues to justify that price. In the end, I will stick to VR which is more impressive, immersive and consistent all the while being a lot more affordable.
