Low performance issue on brand new Acer V15 ANV15-41-R9QC?

Hello! Wondering if someone could help me or at least give me an insight on what may be or not happening with my new Acer Nitro V 15 ANV15-41-R9QC.

Right after getting it, I made sure to update all drivers and also the BIOS. Did some general win 11 debloating and nvidia 3d settings tweak. Also went through the Nitro Sense app and set it to performance mode.

Now, from a new 4050 rtx, ryzen 7 7735 (and of course plugged), i was expecting a bit more performance. Tried CS2, at minimum graphical settings and in 1280x960. With this settings, the game could barelly render 165 fps to match the screen refresh rate, and would drop to 120s and 130s. This seems to be not limited to CS2. On lethal company, the average fps is around 120. On Skyrim, 60.
Some benchmarks on youtube show this pc or very similar versions of it reach an average of 220 fps on CS (and at 1080p with not the lowest graphical settings).

The 4050 is being used and reaches clock speeds of around 2100mhz. One strange thing is that both cpu and gpu dont reach medium-high temps, keeping at around 50-65°, so it looks it isnt even trying.
Also the 4050 seems to run at around 25w during most of most games, reaching around 55w on some parts of the loading.

Already tried to uninstall (using ddu) the nvidia driver and reinstall it but it didn't change anything.

Could somebody help? Is this some sort of thermal problem or driver problem? Maybe faulty device?

(Also got a 180hz monitor used via hdmi 2.1, seems to work wonders, but wont be very useful if I dont get the most of the pc capabilities) Thanks you!
Ps: windows settings are already set to performance

    Low performance issue on brand new Acer V15 ANV15-41-R9QC?

    Hi, you are not posting what RAM you have installed, this laptop comes with only one 8 GB SODIMM which won't even be enough for basic work, so you need at least 2 x 8GB (16GB) identical modules or 2x 16GB (32GB).

    Make sure that you have the last bios 1.06 installed which "Optimizes setting for NVIDIA GPU" and all the optional drives > firmware from windows update available for this laptop, also install GeForce Experience and play these games through this NVidia settings and install the last game ready NVidia driver for the RTX4050 gpu, as that will make your GTX4050 work at its best fps and will be the best settings for gaming of your ANV`5-41 laptop .

    Also, upgrade the M.2 SSD to the Samsung Gen 4 x4 lane drive 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD (as its the quickest and best for gaming) as that will also increase the speed of your laptop and also this laptops 8GB oem fitted ram is too low for gaming, you need at least 16GB ram but preferably 32GB DDR5-5600MT/s as Acer recommends below, look at this guide also: Windows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Hi, check your background processes in Task Manager, that should be around 75, if a lot more uninstall all he bloatware, 3rd party browsers, antivirus programs and trial versions that are pre-installed,

    Hey THUND3R_dude, just out of interest, what spec ram did Acer fit to your Nitro ANV15-41 latop oem. Is it DDR5-4800MT/s or DDR5-5600MT/s as in the service guide Acer recommends the DDR5-5600MT?s and in the memory specs they have the DDR5-4800MT/s, let us know as if your laptop has DDR5-5600MT/s type ram fitted oem, then it would be interesting to know what speed the ram runs at on this laptop in Task Manager, is it 4800MT/s or 5200MT/s or 5600MT/s as this laptop specs quote a speed of DDR5-4800MT/s and they list the DDR5-5600MT/s, which is strange? Let us know as it would be interesting to know. Thanks

    In terms of bloatware i believe i unninstalled everything i needed to unninstall, for the task manager, strangely, it appears how many applications im running, the processe´s of Windows and when i try to check the processes in second plan i cant see the exact number and i dont know why : / How can i see the number especifically?

    Hi, you want to know about the background processes those should not exceed 75

    Check also Windows Services as some programs don't completely uninstall and leave services in the registry like antivirus programs and browsers. if you see any accSVC, acsSVC or Acer AgentSVc stop these services and disable the Startup type in Properties, click on Apply.

    So i only stop these services and disable the startup type?

    I want to be really careful of what i am doing, i dont want to mess up the laptop by accident!! hahahaha

    Also how do i see how many backgrounds processes i have running? For me it only appears dots and i dont know how to show the exact number of processes running in the background!

    You have to make that first panel wider, drag the right boundary to the right to see the whole text. You can also count the background processes,

    Stop and disable these 5 Acer services (inside the 2 red boxes), you won't mess anything as you can always change the Startup type from Disabled to Automatic.

    Hi,

    Windows 11 itself is the biggest bloatware! If all your attempts to optimize it are unsuccessful, consider downgrading to Windows 10.

    @THUND3R_dude
    Make sure that your laptop is equipped with two RAM sticks to run in dual-channel mode.

    I have searched for the Windows 11 having a lot of bloatwares, however i have heard that the Windows 11 is also great for what i want to do with this pc (Content creation and Gaming)!! 😅

    @THUND3R_dude

    Running in dual-channel mode will increase overall performance by 10-20%. You can get another DDR5-4800 MHz 16GB RAM stick or exchange the current 16GB stick for 2x 8GB sticks for a total of 16GB of RAM.
