PH315-55 Laptop Screen Flickering / Flashing
Hello lovely people,
I've started experiencing screen flickering on my laptop recently. Surprisingly, it doesn't affect the monitor connected to it. I've attached photo related to the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hello!!
We need to determine whether it is a hardware or software issue.. Turn off the computer. Tap f2 ( for laptop ) or del ( for desktop ) while turning on the computer. It will go to bios. Please stay on the bios screen for 30 mins. If the display is looking good on bios then it is a software issue. If the display is not looking good on the bios screen then it is a hardware issue.
If it is a software issue try the following the steps..
Try windows x
go to device manager
expand display adapter
right click on display driver - uninstall
Restart the computerIt should work fine..
If it is still not working
Uninstall the display adapter from device manager
Don’t restart the computer.
Go to support.acer.com
chose your country
type snid or chose your model
go to drivers
Install the display driverIt should work fine..

Hello again,
Thank you for your suggestions. I have some updates and further complications:
My laptop monitor is now not detected at all, and the screen remains completely black. I have connected an external monitor via HDMI, which displays correctly, allowing me to see and use my laptop through the external monitor.
Given that I can no longer detect or use the laptop's built-in screen, I was unable to follow the software troubleshooting steps you provided. Here are my questions:
- What additional steps can I take to diagnose and fix the issue given that the internal monitor is not detected?
- Could this indicate a more serious hardware problem, and if so, what are the recommended actions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a million,
