    So let me start by saying this helped me alot, thanks.

    I fixed my issue on my monitor and the PIP/PBP option became available by changing from HDR to Graphics display preset. Didn't have to turn off Freesync either.

    Hope this helps.

    Yeah as some others have said, I had to turn off HRD in the monitor settings, as one source was HDR and the other wasn't, then I could use PIP
