My acer predator Helios neo 16 has the latest available version of predator sense that I installed from the acer website but it's not showing any kind of information and the mode section says it's in some mui undefined operating mode. I am not able to change to different modes neither can I change my rgb or monitor fan speed and cpu/gpu performance. How can I fix this?

If you dont wish to do a system restore or if if it is not working then try the steps given below

Try windows + r on keyboard

    on run - type msconfig

    go to services tab

check hide all microsoft services on the bottom lower left corner

click on disable all and enable all

    apply - ok

restart the computer. It should work fine

If it is still not working

Try windows + r on keyboard

    on run - type msconfig

chose normal startup instead of selective startup

    apply ok

restart the computer. It should work fine

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin or Terminal admin on Windows 11
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..
Try and check whether it is working now ..

This worked for me also, Disabling and reenabling services is so much more convenient than a system restore. Thank you. 😊

hello sir, it actually works for me too, because i had the same issue with the original user who post this thread. I just wanna ask, what is the reason of this happening?

If anyone having the same issues with the PredatorSense application on Windows 11, I found one solution that perfectly works,

Go to Acer Product Support Page and search for Predator PH16-72 or You can simply visit this link: https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/Predator%20PH16-72/downloads

under the application tab at the bottom of the page, you can see Predator Sense Application and want to let you know that this application is made for Predator Helios 16, not for Helios Neo 16 but anyway, it works and also its updated version of Predator Sense it won't harm your device,

you simply download and run the Setup.exe file if you have already downloaded the Predator Sense application that was not working don't worry it will ask you to update the application simply click on yes and boom there you have it,

just open Predator Sense and it will work like charm and you will also get more features than the previous Predator Sense which came for Neo 16.

<b>Let me know if this helps you <b>

Many kudo's to you my friend. I was at wits end, made a factory reset just to see that sense was still not working. Installed the 5.0 something and it worked like a charm. I find it a bit strange that Acer itself doesn't come up with a solution like this. Good health.
