My Acer Aspire C22-1600 will not connect to the internet.

has worked well for 9 months then suddenly will not connect to internet. Have tried restart, computer has run a self diagnostic test, and I have reinstalled the router details but still no connection. Any suggestions please

    Hi @crispyjc does it happen via ethernet cable or just via Wi-Fi?
    If it is via Wi-Fi, do you see other networks?
    What version of Windows do you have?

    thanks for your response. No Ethernet cable just Wi-Fi. Only see my own network. Windows 11.

    You mean you can see your network?
    If this is correct, do you try to log in and it gives some type of error?

    when I click on the internet icon I get a message saying “ computer not connected to the internet”

    Go to the control panel - troubleshooting - other troubleshooters - networks and internet - run
