Hello all

I have Acer Nitro 16 AN16-51-569Q and I have downloaded nitro sense. I'm trying to change the colour of the keyboard but it doesn't change. All my drivers are up to date and I know the rgb is actually working because when i click the performance button I get 2/3 blinks in different colour from the basic one. Can someone help me with this becuase I've surched the internet and there is nothing about this problem.

Have you got the last bios 1.05 installed as that could help. I've got an Acer Nitro laptop and I've never had problems with keyboard lights or Nitro Sense not installing properly ever, are you shure that this colour feature is included in your country, check that out if it is.

I'm also having this problem. I bought a Nitro 16 AN16-51-74HY a few days ago and I can't change the keyboard's RGB colour. It's locked in amber.

However, when I change performance modes, the keyboard changes RGB colours to indicate the mode change (like purple for "Turbo" mode and green for "Eco" mode, for example). I have all drivers and BIOS updated. Did anyone find the solution?

I have the same problem with the backlight. I have AN16-41. I can't change the backlight color.

No one has been able to help me yet. I think I'll have to send my laptop to a service center...

I've been having this issue pretty much the entire time I've had this laptop and I've finally discovered what was causing it on my end. To exactly no one's surprise, Microsoft has its own software running in the background trying to do its own thing called dynamic lighting and it bungles nitro sense's ability to control it once you put the pc to sleep, so "fixing" this issue just involves disabling this feature. Infuriatingly, even if you turn it off inside the settings it still causes issues, so you need to permanently disable it with a script. The site below has the script that I used. I hope this helps you all as it did for me.

And nevermind. I'm back to square one and have no idea what's causing it. My sometimes fix is to simply restart your computer if it's currently bricked and/or avoid closing the nitrosense application if it is not, but those only work some of the time and I haven't found a rhyme or reason as to when. My apologies for the false hope in my last post.

For me this problem occured after updating the nitrosense app. But if you uninstall it and reinstall it from the acer site and don't let it update it works.

I think you can try downgrading the old version of Nitrosense, this will help your problem. I have tried it and it works

I first installed VC_redist.x64.exe, then reinstalled NitroSense and it was fine.

hello. I think you need "nitro care center" application. There ara 4 apps down side of the page. Install all that 4 apps. My v16 nitro works well after all apps installation.
