I have the latest bios available - 1.08. Unfortunately this does not help. Still i have to use 2 usb-c cables (one to external monitor, one for charging)

I also have this issue, and unfortunately it is not anything to do with the doc being only 65 watts, I bought a second 65w charger and it absolutely charges the laptop but I have a targus and Dell doc both being 120 Watts which should be enough to charge the laptop and it will not, It gives it 45w or less this slowly kills the battery. This is disappointing. I have tested an HP laptop with a similar chipset and thunderbolt 4 connectivity and it charges that one and display all on the same cable. I have updated the bios to the newest 1.13 and this issue still hasn't been fixed.

I have the same problem with a couple of Swift Go 14 laptops. So this is not fixed yet. For example SFG14-71 not charging with USB-C docks or Thunderbolt docks. I have tewo HP Thunderbolt Dock G2's (120W and 230W models), HP 4k display with USB-C dock, Some chinese USB-C dock that do not charge the laptop. I get HP TB dock work when changing the USB-C port and turning around the connector but tomorrow it does not charge any more in the same position (not moved or detached, just shut down the laptop for the night) etc. Chinese Orico USB-C dock works fine. The problem is NOT the power, some docks have 100W PD, some 90W, Some 65W. The Orico has 65W and it works flawlessly. The USB-C design of the Swifts is subpar. I have used many other laptops (HP, Lenovo etc.) with all these docks and no problems whatsoever. So the problem is the Swift Go. And these Swifts are brand new laptops. All the firmwares has been updated but no effect. I cannot use these laptops, I have to change them. Very poor design, quality and support by Acer!
