No change since my previous comment. Downgrading to 2004 version of Win 10 fixed the issue. I haven't tried Win 11 yet, sorry.

Hi folks I have an ACER laptop SP314-53N. Had the same problem. Windows would boot and the keyboard would disable as it booted into windows. Keyboard worked fine in BIOS, and with a Linux (Ubuntu) boot disk. What I did is setup a dual boot of Windows and Ubuntu. It's a PITA but I find if I boot into Ubuntu (don't even need to log into the Ubuntu installation, just the login screen) then reboot and boot into Windows the keyboard will work fine. If I shut the computer down, I always have to boot into Linux 1st, then reboot into Windows and the keyboard will work. If I just shut the lid while in Windows and go into suspend the keyboard will still work when I wake up. Weird stuff. On the other hand I use Linux from time to time so nice to know it's there!

  • Have you tried uninstalling the keyboard driver from device manager? Does this problem also occur with an external keyboard?
