Marvel Rivals features an extensive and diverse roster of 27 playable characters (as of November 2024, and there will be more at launch). The game is set to launch on December 6, 2024, on Marvel Rivals platforms that include Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Steam and Epic Games stores. For Marvel PC game players, the Nitro V 14 Gaming Laptop is a suitable option since it comfortably meets the game's recommended system requirements.
Is Marvel Rivals Cross-Platform?
In the closed beta test, Marvel Rivals supported cross-platform matchmaking in casual modes but did not allow players to form parties across different platforms for competitive play. This means that while players on PC could match up against console users in casual games, they could not team up together in ranked matches. Whether any changes in the game's cross-play capabilities will be implemented at launch remains to be seen.
Furthermore, there is no cross-progression feature available at launch. Players will need separate accounts for each platform they wish to play on. However, the developers have confirmed they are having internal discussions to address feedback from test phases showing players' desire for cross-progression.
