Posted about this a few months ago & never received any info that helped this issue. I also wasted 30 minutes of my life the other day with a good for nothing Acer chat "support" agent who after a LONG hold simply told me to do a factory reset & then ghosted me..wouldn't respond to any more questions I had

I will share link to original post below, but basically just like my question states, my Logitech K400 plus does NOT seem to be detected when trying to wake it from sleep mode & I have to constantly pull the laptop out of the rack I keep it in, open the lid & do it from it's keyboard.

Check under device manager and see if the usb port to which the wireless keyboard connector to is set to suspend state when laptop is in sleep state.

I went in device manager & in every single listing there under USB, keyboards, etc. I unchecked the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" & checked the "allow this device to wake the computer" on every listing that had this availiable to check (alot were greyed out)

    STILL NOTHING

I actually thought it did the trick in the beginning because afterwards I hit sleep & was able to wake it up by using my keyboard…but then I went into power mode settings & set it to automatically enter sleep mode after 3 hours of inactivity. SAME S**T, it didn't recognize it & I had to walk over & fool around with the laptop

@StevieArc It pays to have patience…

Coming to your point… you mentioned you are using logitech keyboard. Is logitech software installed? If not, installing this could help. On my work laptop, I use logitech keyboard and mouse and i can wake my laptop using spacebar on my keyboard.

One other item to check is to see if your laptop has proper drivers installed. One open source software I used in recent times is "Snappy Driver Installer Origin". It is a portable open source app, give it a try. Windows tends to load drivers, but it could sometimes not load the exact match, you never know.

Thanks, but I have already tried every single thing mentioned in that that thread, I have the Logitech software installed & all drivers up to date. Nothing works

I use Predator helios Neo 16, and I had same issue on my laptop. I figured out the way to solve this problem.

You can refer this link below, and the solution worked for me was the first one.

    https://www.anyviewer.com/how-to/allow-this-device-to-wake-the-computer-greyed-out-2578.html

    This is the steps,

    1. Open "Registry Editor"
    2. Browse to "Computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services > BTHPORT > Parameters"
    3. Right-click the blank space, choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and add “SystemRemoteWakeSupported” with a DWORD of 1 then restart.

Just note that, you need to turn off the bluetooth keyboard to get into sleep mode. If the keyboard is searching the device, it keeps waking the laptop up. Then, your laptop might fall into the loop, and it will consume your battery. If your keyboard is using USB dongle, it would not be caused.

Do not enable this option even by mistake as mentioned in the link above. Bluetooth should be allowed to allow incoming connections ONLY as needed, not ALWAYS. This is security issue.
