I just got this monitor recently, and I was testing 120Hz and VRR using Marvel Spider-Man (PS5) But when I was playing with the in game settings, suddenly the monitor starts flickering, after some googling I found this page, which says there's a known issue with PS5 and games that support VRR and High Refresh Rate:

I already successfully updated the lastest firmware (which is from 2021...) that's on the Acer support page

I was wondering if there's newer firmware I can get to make XV282K performs better with PS5?

I wonder if Sony has released updates ot the PS5 firmware to deal with the issue?

Clearly not 😆😢 Because I just tested it as of Feb 22, 2023... 😢 Heard there's a ongoing beta firmware on PS5 that's offer some improvement on 1440p VRR support. Was wondering whether that's would help... Usually I would get beta test email invitations during PS4 era. But no luck recently...

So now I'm back to answer my own question.

Seems Sony just released a new system software update,

which might fixed this particular issue.

See images below as they state so.
