I have a pair of P244W monitors and now I am having issues where a monitor alarm is turning on out of the blue. but its only on during certain games and in certain windows.

Final Fantasy 14 during cutscenes and the character select window.

Overwatch 2 during the start of the match and character select.

I have attempted a power reset, by turning both monitor's off unpluging all cables and holding the power, but the noise returns. It makes a loud Blaring alarm sound.

How long ago did this start to happen? A few hours ago? A day? A week? A month? Might help if you could reveal the PC that's driving them.

Open Control Panel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' left pane. If System Protection is turned on in the box that pops up, click System Restore button. Click next. Do you see an automatic restore point with a date stamp about a week ago?

no restore point, but after my monitors' screaming at me for most of the night, I was able to diagnose the issue. Apparently these monitor's have issues anytime they go above 300 FPS, and go into alarm mode. Will have to look at getting new monitors.

    >>>. Apparently these monitor's have issues anytime they go above 300 FPS>>>

What? Specs suggest 75 max for these vintage screens.
