May i have the model of the unit?

Try doing a power drain and check. Unplug the charger and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Than i guess it could be a hardware issue, Try to call Acer support.

Take the side cover off and watch the CPU fan when you press the power button. Does it spin at all? One of the first things that happen on a press of the button is to initialize the power supply, which provides the 12V needed to start that fan. If the fan doesn't spin at all we need to diagnose both the power button and the power supply itself. Do you have access to a VOM to measure connectivity and voltages?

Just in addition to all the above, don't touch your desktops PSU or dismantle it in any way, your Predator PO3-640 desktop should be under warranty, Let Acer fix your power on issues problems or an experienced technician if your desktop is not under warranty, Power related issues could be from many sources and opening a PSU is very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing, as you will get electrocuted,

PSUs store high voltage when you open the unit even when unplugged from the mains power, understand that there are two hazards: Stored high voltage (200V or so) on the "input" side of the unit. and Stored high currents (tens of amps) on the "output" side of the unit. which are all very dangerous and lethal if touched "SO BE WARNED"!
