Hello . I have a question . I have an Acer aspire a315-23 8GB ram model computer. I want to upgrade the ram of my computer. I thought there was 4 GB removable embedded in the 4 GB motherboard, but when I turned on the computer, I saw that there was only one ram slot. What is the maximum amount of ram I can install? I will attach pictures of the motherboard.(Thread was edited to add model name to the title)

Hi,
You have 4GB onboard RAM and a slot for upgrade, you can upgrade up to 12GB(4GB onboard+8GB), go to Task Manager and find out the speed of your 4GB onboard RAM, then buy a new module with same speed but avoid any memory modules with XMP or Automatic overclocking mentioned in the specification.

I would suggest you install a 8GB 2400MHz RAM and it will work and will be sufficient but if you want you can install 16GB module at your own risk because I couldn't find anyone installed 24GB total memory in this model.
