@ytrmucahit your model might have 8GB Onboard RAM. The maximum capacity is 24GB (by installing another 16GB stick).
Aspire a315-23 8GB Computer ram slot? What is the maximum amount of ram I can install?

Hi,
You have 4GB onboard RAM and a slot for upgrade, you can upgrade up to 12GB(4GB onboard+8GB), go to Task Manager and find out the speed of your 4GB onboard RAM, then buy a new module with same speed but avoid any memory modules with XMP or Automatic overclocking mentioned in the specification.

I would suggest you install a 8GB 2400MHz RAM and it will work and will be sufficient but if you want you can install 16GB module at your own risk because I couldn't find anyone installed 24GB total memory in this model.

@ytrmucahit Windows determined that this model supports up to 64GB of RAM. It means that you can still install a 32GB stick that becomes a total of 40GB.Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
