Ok, I have seen this issue has been raised on this website way too many times!
But what is Acer doing to fix it?
I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 and when I just started the laptop (no games, no heavy use, not even charging the battery) -> so no reason to heat up. Also, it is new and there isn't any dust!
Now PredatorSense suddenly showed very high temperatures (98 - 104 degrees Celsius) in the System category!
Checked the temperature through HWMonitor, it was in the 50s-60s. So, it is for sure that there is a problem with PredatorSense and the software part only.
After some time, my laptop suddenly turned off, probably because of the temperature safety check not being satisfied.
I restarted it, again it turned off, this time during bootup itself.
I waited for some time and restarted it, it booted up but it showed high temperatures in the CPU category this time (same 95+ degrees celsius).
After some time though, thankfully it came back to normal!
PredatorSense is not sensing things properly!!!
What's the fix for this?
